Discovery tour of southern Morocco with Marrakech and Ouarzazate, Morocco travel

 

 

Day 1 : Marrakech - Telouate - Ouarzazate - Skoura - Kelaa Mgouna

Morning departure to the High Atlas by the neck Tizi n'Tichka 2260 m through the kasbah Telouet (visit of the Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui) lunch Tasga restaurant on site. Then by a former caravan trail we reach the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou the valley dotted with villages Ounila Berber. Road to Ouarzazate to continue to Kelaa Mgouna through the road of thousand kasbah. Dinner and night in a kasbah.

 

Day 2 : kelaa Mgouna - Roses Valley - Dades valley - Dades gorges - Boumalne - Tinghir - Toudra Gorges

After breakfast, you walk through the valley of roses to join the Dades Valley to the kasbah of Ait Youl. The road rises through the Dades Gorge, visit the gorges and come back for the Dades Valley to Boumalne to continue to the gorges of Todra, for visit. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 3 : Toudra Gorges - Tinghir - Tizi N-tzazert - Jbel Saghro - Nkoub - Tansikhte - Zagora

Day 4 : Zagora - Tamegroute - Draa Valley - Mhamid - Chegaga

Morning departure to visit and Tamgroute Zaouïa; old Koranic library, the makers of pottery and a Kasbah underground. Continue to the oasis of Tagounite by Ait Isfoul, M'hamid arrival and lunch. Track to the dunes of Chegaga to admire the sunset. Dinner and overnight in tents.

 

Day 5 : Chegaga - Lac Iriki - Taznaght - Ouarzazate

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then breakfast. Departure for Foum Zguid by visiting the nomads who live in their tents, pass the Iriqui lake and desert dotted with acacia trees. Arriving at the village Foum Zguid for take the tarmac road. Lunch in Taznakhte and continuation to Ouarzazate.

 

Day 6 : Ouarzazate - Fint Oasis - Tifoultoute - Marrakech

After breakfast, drive to the oasis of Fint: on top of a rock, discovery the oasis nestled in the crook of the river, between the mountains. Four small villages where time seems to stand still, and where people live peacefully resources of this wonderful oasis. Lunch on the road to Marrakech and overnight at your hotel. End of the trip to 17 hours.
