Atlas and Sahara desert trips

 

Day 1 : Marrakech - Telouet - Ouarzazate

200 km -- 32 off-road

After breakfast, early departure to do a desert tour Morocco to Telouet via the mountain of hight Atlas passing through the Tizi-n-tichka pass reaching 2,260 m, visite of the Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui in Telouet (lunch in the place). Afternoon tracks to Ait Ben-Haddou via the Ounila valley with its Berber villages. Continuation to Ouarzazate.

Day 2 : Ouarzazate - Todra gorges - Merzouga

350 km

After breakfast go on with the desert tour to Skoura by the road of thousand kasbah (visit of the Amredhyle kasbah). Route to the rose Capital Kelaa Mgouna, boumalne then Tinghir. Drive up to Todra Gorges (lunch in the place). In the afternoon, we will go to Erfoud via the Tinjdad and Tourog palm groves and then stop in Erfoud to see the fabrication of marble and fossils. After Erfoud we will see the impressive Merzouga dunes of Erg Chebbi where we exchange the car for camels to admire the sunset and spend the night under Berber tents in a bivouac in the deep of the dunes.

Day 3 : Merzouga-Rissani - Alnif - Tazarine-Zagora

360 km -- 90 Km off-road

Early in the morning to admire the sunrise, we will return on camels to the bottom of the dunes to go on with our tour in morocco desert. After breakfast, departure for the Tafilalet palm groves via Rissani. Then we will arrive to Alnif (lunch in this place), Tazzarine and then trakes to Zagora crossing the desert plateau and passing by the village of Taftachna and the village of Ait Ouaaziqne.
Dinner and Over night in Hotel.

 

Day 4 : Zagora - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

350km

After breakfast, departure to Ouarzazate via the Draa valley with its numerous palm groves and Kasbahs also via the mountains of the Anti Atlas. Lunch in Ouarzazate. In the afternoon, continuation to Marrakesh via the Tizi Ntichka pass.
