Morocco tours in Anti Atlas, Draa valley and Chegaga dunes

 

Day 1 : Ouarzazate - Agdz - Draa Valley - Zagora

160 km total - 22 km off-road

Morocco holiday's starts at 7:30am to visit Ouarzazate Kasbah des Cigognes ( Storks Kasbah ) and a panoramic view of the lake. Continuing towards the village of Agdz to take the off-road tracks by the Tizi níTinififft Pass at 1660m altitude to arrive in the Alkaid Ali Kasbah. Lunch in local restaurant. After midday we cross Draa Valley with amazing palm plantations and ksours. Arrive in Zagora. Diner and Hotel.

 

Day 2 : Zagora - Tamegroute - Chegaga

150 km total - 22 km off-road

Morning departure for the excursion to Tamegroute to visit the ancient Zaouia, the old Koranic Library, pottery artisans and the underground kasbah. Road to Tagouenite Oasis by Ait Isfould. Arrival at Míhamid and lunch. Desert tracks to Chegaga dunes and enjoy the Sun Set.

 

Day 3 : Chegaga - Foum Zguit - Taznakhte - Ouarzazate

300 km total - 120 km off-road

Wake up in the morning to enjoy sunrise in Chegaga Dunes. After breakfast we leave to Foum Zguit passing nomad people that live in tents. Visit to Iriqui dry lake and the desert plateau of Akassia. Lunch snack in the Oasis. Return to Ouarzazate by Taznakhte. Arrival at Ouarzazate around 6pm.
