Day 1 : Marrakech – Telouate – Ouarzazate

200 Km -- 32 Km off-road

Departure in the morning to the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka col (2260 m high) going through Telouet Kasbah (visit of the Pasha Glaoui kasbah), lunch on the spot at the restaurant “Tasga”. Next, way through an ancient track for caravaneers, we join up with the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou via Ounila Valley full of Berber villages. Way towards Ouarzazate. Dinner and night at the hotel.

 

Day 2 : Ouarzazate – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

350 Km

Early morning departure towards the Valley of 1000 Kasbahs, visit of the Kasbah Amredhyle in Skoura. We continue towards roses’ capital city: Kalaa Mgouna. We go up to the Dades Valley until Boumalne in order to continue to Tinghir and visit the Toudra Gorges (15 Km from Tinghir), lunch on the spot. In the afternoon, departure to Erfoud going through Tinjdad palm grove, Touroug palm grove and the city of Erfoud to visit the marble and fossil production workshop and then going by track towards the amazing dunes of Erg Chebbi. Change vehicle for dromedaries to contemplate the sunset and spend the night in the inn. Dinner and night in the inn.

 

Day 3 : Merzouga - Erg Chebbi - Merzouga

90 Km off-road

After breakfast, you will go all the way round the dunes via the 2 oasis of MERZOUGA, the nomadic depository, KHAMLIA village (Blacks’ village), MIFISS mines, desert plateau at the encounter of the Berber nomads, TISSARDMINE oasis, and return to the inn around 3 pm for the departure of our caravan on dromedaries in order to be at the sunset on the dunes. You will spend the night in a wild oasis located in the heart of the desert about 2 hours away on foot. Night under Berber canvas.

 

Day 4 : Merzouga – Rissani- Alnif - Tazarine – Zagora

360 km including 90 Km track

Early morning departure towards the huge palm grove of Tafilalet passing by Rissani (the Alaouite Dynasty and the capital city of ancient Alaouite Sultans). Way towards Alnif, lunch on the spot. In the afternoon, way to Tazarine, Nkob and Tansihkt where we take the track that goes through the sublime Draa Valley and its procession of palm trees. Continuation towards Zagora by the road. Dinner and night in the hotel.

 

Day 5 : Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

350 Km

After breakfast, departure to Ouarzazate crossing the sublime Draa Valley via the Berber village of Agdz and the Anti-Atlas (1660 m high). In the afternoon, we join Marrakech by the Tizi n'Tichka Col.
